Here are answers to some of the most common questions about Gospel Roads
Have your own question? Ask us: info@gospelroads.org!

What's expected of me as an Adult Chaperon?
Adult Chaperons are expected to fully participate in the Gospel Roads experience! You will be asked to work, play, and pray alongside the young people participating in the GR week.
You will be responsible for transporting your youth to/from the Gospel Roads program. Depending on the situation specific to each GR program, you may be asked to transport your youth to/from service sites during the week. Details for each specific program will are available on the individual program pages (click on Summer 2012 to the left).

What's expected of me as a Youth Participant?
Come with an open heart, ready to contribute to the group! Each day, you'll be asked to work hard at a variety of service sites, but there's more to it than that.
There will be large and small group discussions, prayer services, and more, during which you'll reflect on the work you've done. You'll learn that there's more to Christian Service than acts of charity - it's about creating an awareness of Social Justice.

How can I register for Gospel Roads?
Details for registration are avaialable by clicking here.
For all Gospel Roads I programs, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, until the available spots for a specific program have been filled. Right now, only group registration is available. Individual Registration will take place online, when the time comes!
For all Gospel Roads II and III programs, there is a separate application process for each program.

How much does Gospel Roads cost?
Prices for Summer 2013 Gospel Roads programs are to be announced.
This fee covers room, board, meals, GR t-shirt, and supplies during the week. Transportation may be provided to service sites by the GR host site during the week, otherwise, groups will be responsible for transporting themselves throughout the length of the program. You will be notified of the transportation situation during the registration process.
You should bring some spending money. Most GR programs include at least one community outing, the cost of which is not included in your Registration Fee.

What are the accomodations like?
Some GR programs are hosted at retreat centers with individual bedrooms and fully staffed kitchens, while others are hosted at parishes where participants help with cooking and must supply their own sleeping bags and air mattresses and share rooms with their peers of the same gender. All sites have private showers. The specific details for each GR host site are available on each program's page.
